Chapter 32

Before losing consciousness, she seemed to crash into a furry mountain.

【What kind of animal left this footprint? Why is it so big? Is that even reasonable?】

【It’s a tiger, right? Looks like a tiger’s paw print.】

【Emm… honestly, it could be a leopard too, but the problem is, this paw print is way too big. Whether it’s a tiger or a leopard, even a Siberian tiger’s paw isn’t this large.】

The livestream equipment was set at both high and low angles to properly capture the footprint.

Before confirming whether it was actually a tiger, Lin Qianyu didn’t give a definitive answer. “Anyway, the fluffballs at home are still waiting for their meal.”

With that, Lin Qianyu simply carried the coconuts and walked off.

She had caught a whole pile of seafood.

Things like clams and oysters—just crack a seam open with a rock, and if your grip is strong enough, you can split it along the crack. Then grill it over the fire until it’s done.

These are all things that can be eaten raw, so they don’t need to be overcooked—just heated and they’re ready.

Lin Qianyu cracked open a sea urchin. There’s not much meat inside—what you eat is the roe. The leopard, upon seeing the spiky thing, didn’t even bother sniffing it. Lin Qianyu leaned against the leopard, holding up the urchin. “Not bad, right?”

【Feels kinda like an Ezo Bafun sea urchin. Yellow sea urchins aren’t usually this big, right?】

【!!! I saw this exact thing at the sushi place downstairs yesterday. Smaller than the one the streamer’s holding—and they charged me over three thousand for one! She just dove in the ocean and brought back a pile!】

【Aaaahhh? @Director, are you sure you don’t want to cast me on this show? I’m not even here for the urchins—I just wanna suffer a bit.】

Ezo Bafun sea urchins aren’t just delicious—they’re highly nutritious too. Lin Qianyu nodded. “There’s still plenty in the sea. I could only grab a few since I couldn’t carry more.”

While eating the urchin, she muttered, “If only I had a bowl of rice.”

Sea urchin rice with a splash of soy sauce—that would be absolutely divine.

Especially when the urchins grow in an undeveloped, untouched island, in crystal-clear, unpolluted seas. Sea urchins from this kind of environment taste sweet and fresh, without even a trace of fishiness. The texture is smooth and creamy.

It’s just that…

This kind of flavor seemed to be something only Lin Qianyu appreciated. Neither the black bear nor the red-tailed mountain eagle showed any interest in the sea urchins. Instead, they were pawing at the fish on the ground.

Lin Qianyu figured, maybe they just weren’t hungry yet.

“I’ll save a few for you.” She stopped eating and set some sea urchins aside, then turned to stir the firepit. The shellfish on the fire opened up almost instantly.

There wasn’t a grain of sand inside the fresh shellfish, and each one was huge.

“Look at this white clam—it’s as big as my hand.” For comparison, she spread her fingers and held the clam up from behind with her palm.

The edge of the clam was only a little shorter than her fingers.

The opened clam still had broth inside. She slurped both the meat and soup into her mouth—the taste was indescribably fresh.

She cooked several more and set them aside to cool down for Xiao Diao when it returned.

Once that was done, she continued boiling and eating them one at a time. “Xiao Xiong, Huahua? You two really aren’t going to eat?”

“Woo…”

Xiao Xiong refused, and Lin Qianyu turned to look at the leopard. “Huahua…”She paused, and after clearly seeing what the leopard was doing, narrowed her eyes in disbelief. “Huahua, what are you doing?”

The leopard, which had been pawing sand over the sea urchin to bury it, froze mid-motion. After being caught, it casually flicked its tail, stepped on the edge of the tarp to shake off most of the sand, and then laid back down as if nothing had happened.

【Pffft—hahahaha!】

【You can really tell Huahua despises sea urchins.】

【Look on the bright side—maybe it was trying to store the food, not… okay never mind, I can’t keep lying. Huahua totally buried the sea urchin like it was trash.】

Lin Qianyu couldn’t help laughing and crying. “Oh, you little Huahua, if you’d just take one bite, you’d know how delicious it is.”

Setting down the scallop in her hand, Lin Qianyu rubbed her palms together and moved toward the leopard.

“?”

Huahua instantly sensed danger—its ears pinned back slightly, and a low warning sound rumbled from its throat.

After getting familiar with Lin Qianyu, Huahua rarely bared its teeth. On the rare occasion it did, it was always playful and posed no real threat.

Just like now—faced with this big cat showing its claws, Lin Qianyu wasn’t scared at all. She lunged forward and tackled the leopard to the ground.

“!!!”

【I can’t believe my eyes!!!】

【Ahhh Lin-jie is so badass!】

Huahua lay belly-up, its claws—normally used to intimidate enemies—briefly flashed before retreating back into soft paw pads. Its front paws curled in slightly and rested across its chest.

Lin Qianyu grabbed one of Huahua’s paws and then held the opened sea urchin to its face, laughing brightly. “Come on, Huahua—just one bite and you’ll fall in love with the flavor.”

“Roar—!” Huahua threw its head back in protest, clearly refusing, but it still didn’t attack—not even a growl of warning.

It was just a poor, persecuted fluffball.

Its tail swished back and forth across the waterproof mat, making rustling noises, occasionally smacking the mat, as it stared down the strange-looking sea urchin with unwavering resistance.

Seeing how unwilling it was, Lin Qianyu couldn’t resist teasing it more. “Come on, come on, be good, open wide—while it’s still fresh.”

“Awoo!” Huahua opened its mouth to roar at her, but Lin Qianyu immediately moved to pour the sea urchin in. Huahua quickly clamped its mouth shut and whimpered softly, “Mmm mmm.”

“Hahaha…” Lin Qianyu couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst into laughter.

The black bear in the distance, busy eating fish, glanced over curiously, tilting its head suspiciously. Wondering what Lin Qianyu was up to, it dropped its half-eaten fish and trotted over to join in.

But as it got closer, it realized what Lin Qianyu was holding—a weird, black, spiky thing.

“Thump thump thump”—Xiao Xiong’s eyes widened in alarm. Clearly spooked by the scene before it, it backed up three steps, putting distance between itself and the danger zone.

Lin Qianyu, still holding Huahua down with one hand, noticed the bear approaching and smiled at it. “Xiao Xiong, want a bite too?”

“Woo woo!” Xiao Xiong turned and ran, as if afraid Lin Qianyu would come after it. It grabbed the fish it hadn’t finished and shuffled even farther away.

“Haha!” Lin Qianyu laughed so hard she nearly doubled over. “This is too cute, haha… my stomach hurts from laughing.”

She lay down, trembling from laughter, clutching her belly, eyes brimming with tears.

She literally laughed until she cried. The cute little bear had already fled first, and the leopard lying on the waterproof mat had no strength to resist either.

【Shocking! A delicate woman pins down a leopard and scares off a black bear—dominates the rainforest!】

【Look how scared our little bear is—its whole body jiggled.】

【LOL stop it. Everyone keeps calling the little bear fat—this tank is just chubby, okay?】

【Hahaha damn it, you say that, but you roasted it too.】

Lin Qianyu lay on her side beside the leopard, reaching out to stroke the fur on its belly. She casually set the sea urchin aside and took a break from laughing.

Seeing she’d quieted down, the leopard lying on its back turned to glance at her.

Lin Qianyu reached out and wrapped an arm around its neck, giving it a fierce cuddle and rubbing her face against it. “What’s wrong, baby?”

The leopard licked the corner of its mouth and looked at the sea urchin that had been set aside. “Roar…”

Lin Qianyu instantly understood and met the leopard’s beautiful eyes, her heart melting. “Aiya, I was just teasing you. If you don’t like it, we won’t eat it. This rainforest is huge—there’s endless delicious food.”

She grabbed its paw and gave it a good squish. “I’ll go get you some fish.”

The fish on the fire was almost done. Afraid it’d overcook and go to waste, Lin Qianyu had used a low flame. Now it was just right to serve.

Huahua the leopard was clearly enjoying the grilled fish. Compared to raw fish, the cooked one was easier to debone, and it licked up entire chunks of meat.

Seeing the sea urchin had been eaten by Lin Qianyu, the little bear finally walked back with a fish in its mouth and ate it near her.

Lin Qianyu poured two bowls of water—one with honey water for the little bear, as usual, and one with plain water for Huahua, who didn’t like sweets much.

“Chirp!” The little hawk returned, holding a chicken.

Ever since that downpour, it had become hard to find meat chickens, whether on the mountain or at the foot. Maybe they had found a more suitable place to survive, or maybe they were hunted by starving beasts during the storm. Either way, the animals released by the production crew for the guests to hunt had greatly decreased.

“You’re back? Thanks for the hard work, little hawk.” Lin Qianyu dragged over the leaf with white clams, “Come eat something—I just finished grilling them.”

Last time, the little hawk had really liked grilled razor clams. This time, the white clams were even tastier—surely it would love these too.

Though these shellfish came from the sea, during high tide, some would be tossed onto the shore, and those not washed back out became snacks for animals.

The red-tailed hawk picked up the small clam meat with its beak, then pecked at the broth inside and tilted its head back to drink.

While it was slowly eating, Lin Qianyu opened two more sea urchins.

Unlike the bear and the leopard, the red-tailed hawk didn’t outright reject the sea urchin. Though it had never tried it before, it was curious about the unfamiliar food. After a taste, it found it decent and started eating properly.

Watching the hawk devour it, the leopard narrowed its eyes, while the black bear’s eyes went wide. From a distance it couldn’t see clearly, so it came closer and tilted its head to examine.

【Black Bear: Bro, you’re seriously eating that?】

【LOL that look of shock is way too obvious!】

【Why is such expensive sea urchin so hated by Huahua and Xiao Xiong?!】

As for the chicken—which had already stopped breathing—Lin Qianyu plucked its feathers and washed it with seawater. After it was cleaned, she rinsed it again with fresh water, and it was ready for the fire.

She also cleaned the organs and placed them on a leaf, letting the fluffballs at home pick and choose what they wanted to eat.None of them were very hungry. This meal by the sea didn’t count as a proper dinner—at most, it was just a late-night snack during the journey.

Lin Qianyu was roasting the chicken with one hand while using the other to pull the lobster out of the fire.

The lobster was prepared the same way as the king crab last time, but compared to king crab, lobster had noticeably less meat.

She removed all the meat and placed it right next to the innards.

Once she was full, Lin Qianyu stopped eating and returned to the waterproof mat, lying back with her head resting on the leopard’s belly.

The leopard’s breathing was so shallow that the rise and fall of its stomach was barely noticeable when lying on it. She looked up at the sky, now fully dark.

Actually, the outdoors weren’t as pitch black as inside the cave. In the rainforest, the dense trees blocked out most of the sky and sunlight, but not by the sea.

At night, the moon hung high in the sky, and the stars twinkled. The scene quietly slowed one's breathing, calming the entire body, drawing her into the endless night.

Lin Qianyu whispered, “The sunrise here must be beautiful.”

Both seaside and mountaintop were perfect places to watch the sun rise and set.

“Actually, this is pretty good too—self-sufficient when hungry, and with fluffy companions around, I’m never bored.” Lin Qianyu spread her arms and hugged the leopard’s head, ruffling it wildly. “Let’s just spend the night here.”

Having made up her mind and rested enough, Lin Qianyu stood up again. “Late-night tutorial: If you accidentally get stranded on a deserted island, how to quickly build a bed you can sleep on.”

She weighed the machete in her hand and, after chopping a few banana leaves, said, “First, find two nearby trees, then use suitable wood to make a frame.”

Since she had no rope, making a hammock wasn’t the hard part—it was how to secure it that mattered.

It was already late, so Lin Qianyu didn’t go far to find substitute ropes. Just like when building a shelter, she used natural wood as a base.

She arranged wood and chopped logs into a triangle.

Then she wedged a piece of wood into the center of the triangle.

“This is roughly the frame. Now use willow branches to weave through it—just like basket weaving.” Willow branches were everywhere nearby.

After stripping the leaves and cleaning them, the fresh willow twigs were soft and not easily broken, making them ideal for weaving.

Willow branches would dry over time, but once woven into place, even when dried, they wouldn’t come loose easily.

Weaving this was quite simple. Lin Qianyu layered them over and under, wrapping around several twigs, intentionally weaving tightly.

The leopard sitting nearby narrowed its pupils, staring unblinkingly at the willow branch swaying in Lin Qianyu’s hand.

Just as Lin Qianyu was focused on weaving the hammock, she felt a tug on the branch. Turning her head, she saw the leopard crouched below, pawing at the willow twig with its fluffy paw.

【Aaaaah so cute!】

【Forget the hammock! Give the twig to Huahua to play with, please!】

【I bought so many teaser wands and my cat couldn’t care less. Why is Huahua so cute—playing with teaser wands on its own!】

【@Director, please open a donation option—I want to buy teaser wands for Huahua, meat snacks for the little bear, and flower crowns for the hawk!】

Realizing the leopard was just playing, Lin Qianyu smiled and didn’t mind delaying the hammock. She picked up one end of the twig and dangled it in front of the leopard.

This time, the leopard didn’t pounce right away but crouched down, front paws tucked together, preparing to leap.

Lin Qianyu increased the speed of the dangling, occasionally lifting it higher. The leopard followed closely, its gaze locked on the willow branch the entire time. The next moment, the leopard pounced and bit down on the willow branch.

While biting, it let out a series of “wuu wuu” sounds, rolled over to expose its belly, hugged the willow branch with its front paws, and even kicked at it with its hind legs.

It fiercely gnawed on the branch over and over again, and by the time Lin Qianyu pulled it out, it had only suffered some superficial damage.

It wasn’t even bitten through.

With a leopard’s bite strength, if it really meant to bite the willow branch, it would’ve already turned it into splinters.

Lin Qianyu patted its ear, and just as the leopard squinted its eyes, she swiftly yanked the willow branch away. “Haha, I got—ah!”

Before she could finish bragging, the leopard had already pounced again, and Lin Qianyu fell backward to the ground, completely unguarded.

The leopard landed right on top of her, still biting the willow branch that tried to escape.

Knocked over, Lin Qianyu fought back immediately. Hooking one leg over the leopard’s back, she twisted and flipped it down together with her.

The dry grass underneath them rustled noisily.

Lin Qianyu grabbed the leopard and rubbed against it. “Gotcha, didn’t I?”

“Roar!” The leopard retaliated again.

Lin Qianyu wrapped her arms around its neck and rolled around on the ground, wrestling with the big fellow.

The leopard smartly retracted its sharp teeth and claws. Without those two weapons, it could only use its soft paw pads to push and press.

Lin Qianyu, agile and skilled, fought back evenly with the leopard.

The black bear was sitting on a rock scratching a tree. When it turned its head and saw the scene, it stared blankly, its gaze shifting left and right repeatedly, almost making itself dizzy.

It shook out its fur, got up, and let out a “roar!”—then joined the battle.

“Chirp!” The red-tailed crested hawk, which had been watching vigilantly from the tree, also swooped down, and chaos broke loose in all directions.

【Zoom in! I can’t see anything!】

【Who's got the upper hand? Any professional commentators in the chat? We’re hiring, top pay!】

【I'm dying—are they fighting or playing house in kindergarten? How would the prey that died under your claws feel about this?】

【Next time an actor in showbiz gives a bad performance, I’m showing them this video. Even animals act better than you!】

It looked like a fight, but in reality, it was just three balls of fluff playing together in a chaotic mess.

Lin Qianyu, the instigator, was caught in the middle, rubbing a belly on the left and an ear on the right, fully occupied.

In the confusion, someone smacked the leopard’s tail, the little bear’s paw got bitten, and the red-tailed crested hawk—though it originally had the high-ground advantage—was now tangled on the ground, unable to use it, but still holding its own.

Forget the watching fans—even Lin Qianyu was completely muddled mid-battle, having no idea who was fighting who.

Suddenly, a sharp pain hit her waist. Lin Qianyu squinted from the pain. “Tsss—cough, cough cough.” A gulp of cold air hit her throat in the middle of the night, nearly choking her half to death.

But the moment she made a sound, all the fluffballs who had been fighting so fiercely instantly stopped and crowded over to check on her.

Lin Qianyu propped herself up with one hand on her waist and the other bracing against a tree, slowly sitting up. She pulled out the dry grass stuck to her body. “Damn it! Who ambushed me?”

【Reporting in—it was the log. I saw it.】【Yes yes yes, that piece of wood totally looked shady from the start—I could tell it was plotting something!】

【Who can relate, family? I was laughing so hard in bed in the middle of the night I rolled around, woke up my mom in the next room, got scolded, but I still couldn’t stop laughing hahaha.】

Lin Qianyu patted off her clothes. That dry grass had been brought from elsewhere by her to use as padding—just right as a cushion.

After rolling on it for a while, it didn’t hurt at all.

“Alright, you all go play. I’ve got serious things to do now.” Normally at this hour, she’d already be asleep in the cave.

She’d gotten too used to the cozy cave life. Getting out to refresh her mood wasn’t bad either.

Lin Qianyu continued weaving the half-finished hammock, patching up the remaining part.

The leopard leapt onto the nearest tree, carefully finding a good spot on the branch to lie down, then lowered its head to groom the fur that had been messed up earlier.

This tree was also the one Lin Qianyu had picked as a support post. The little hawk perched on a lower branch of the same tree—its wings stretched downward could even brush past Lin Qianyu’s hair.

The black bear could climb trees too, but usually only to look for food—it didn’t linger up there.

Staying on trees too long wasn’t good for the trees.

So the little bear just plopped itself down on the dry grass and stared intently at Lin Qianyu.

Time passed without anyone noticing.

By the time the hammock was finished, it was already the second half of the night.

Lin Qianyu secured the last bit of willow strip and let out a long sigh. “Alright, the hammock’s done.”

“You can do it like me—lay out some banana leaves, or use any large leaves you have on hand. Waterproof cloth also works, but mine got sand on one side and I haven’t cleaned it yet, so I’m making do with banana leaves.”

“It’s fine if you don’t lay anything at all, but adding leaves makes it flatter and more even.”

After spreading the banana leaves, Lin Qianyu pressed down to make sure it was stable before climbing on.

“It looks simple, but it’s actually pretty sturdy,” she said. Lying in it, she didn’t feel any shaking. The only downside was that there was no roof to block wind or rain—but today’s weather was nice, so it had inspired her to make it on a whim.

Lin Qianyu said, “I feel like this hammock is better for a nap. Throw a straw hat or a big leaf over your eyes to block the sun and enjoy a good sleep.”

It all sounded ideal, but the spot was too far from the cave.

Once this hammock was used today, it might not get used again.

“Hua Hua?” Lin Qianyu lay down in the hammock and looked up—her gaze met the leopard who was leaning its head down to look at her.

Caught in the act, the leopard quickly turned its head to pretend it was looking at the scenery, then slowly snuck a glance back, only to find Lin Qianyu hadn’t moved at all.

Lin Qianyu curved her eyes with a soft laugh and whispered, “Hua... Hua...?”

The leopard’s ears twitched. It lifted a paw to swipe its ear, rubbing a couple of times, almost like it was hugging its own head.

【Hua Hua: As long as I pretend to admire the scenery, you won’t notice I’m watching you.】

【So cute I could die! Hua Hua, do you even remember you’re a predator?! Are all big cats this adorable?!】

【Gimme a kiss, just one kiss, let Auntie kiss you, you’re such a good kitty.】

【Why am I not the one there?! I’m gonna riot—please, let my soul swap into that tree, I beg you.】The hammock was finished, but Lin Qianyu no longer planned to sleep.

The sky was already showing signs of light, and when she checked the time, it was nearly 4 a.m.

She simply lay on it to relax, waiting to watch the sunrise.

Once things quieted down, Lin Qianyu’s thoughts began to drift.

This wasn’t tiger territory, but there were tiger-like footprints, which meant a tiger had passed through before.

Thinking back to the heavy rain earlier, there was no way footprints would have lasted through that, so the tiger must have come by after the rain.

There were no production crew cameras in this area—the places designated for the guests by the crew were where the shelters had been built before.

This spot was even farther out, not even reaching the mountain area, so naturally it wasn’t covered.

As a result, there were still no video recordings of any of this.

Lin Qianyu had both hands behind her head. The fluffballs in the tree had already closed their eyes, and the little bear was fast asleep on the dry grass.

With a piece of flower candy in her mouth, she slowly savored the floral sweetness. The sound of waves crashing against the shore echoed in her ears, each wave higher than the last, swept by the wind.

...

Until warm light spread across the horizon, the stars above her head silently faded, and the moon, after briefly sharing the sky with the sun, also disappeared—leaving only the rising sun on the far side of the sea.

Soft orange light spilled down, casting a warm glow across the shimmering surface of the ocean.

"Little Hawk, Little Bear, Hua Hua?" Lin Qianyu sat up at the edge of the hammock. The sun rising over the ocean looked as though it were emerging from the crashing waves, making it hard to look away. “Get up, time to watch the sunrise.”

The light-sleeping leopard was the first to open its eyes. The red-tailed hawk flew down from the tree—this time not to her shoulder, but settling into her arms.

The little bear, still half-asleep with eyes barely open, stirred at Lin Qianyu’s words and moved as instructed. Its eyes squinted into slits, and its chin rested on Lin Qianyu’s leg. Letting out a long sigh, it mumbled lazily, “Mmm…”

Lin Qianyu gently stroked the little hawk in her arms and gave the little bear a pat. “We’re watching the sunrise.”

“Awoo…”

The live broadcast drone rose, adjusting its angle to appear behind Lin Qianyu, facing the direction of the rising sun.

The sun, which normally was too harsh to look at directly, now shone with a gentle light.

Lin Qianyu’s shadow stretched longer as the sun rose. The little bear’s fuzzy body peeked out from beneath the hammock, its head resting on her leg. The red-tailed hawk’s tail feathers brushed against her elbow. The leopard’s tail hung down, just brushing the right side of her face.

In frame, it seemed only Lin Qianyu’s back was visible.

But every single fluffball occupied a crucial spot in the shot.

Under everyone’s gaze, the sun slowly rose.

The shot rotated smoothly from behind, revealing Lin Qianyu’s delicate profile, her eyes filled with joy as she gazed at the sun.

She didn’t notice that the red-tailed hawk in her arms was looking up at her.

The little bear, lying against her shoulder, turned its head to her as well. The leopard bent lower, gazing down toward her.

Not a single one of the animals was actually looking at the sun.

【Aaaaah this scene is too beautiful!】【You're watching the sunrise, and I'm watching you. The emotions of little animals are truly the softest!】

【I've been watching this livestream since episode one, and I really, really love it, sob sob sob… Everyone, I could watch Lin Qianyu’s wilderness survival adventures with the fluffballs for a lifetime. This is literally my digital pickled vegetables.】

...

Lin Qianyu woke up the fluffballs, originally wanting to watch the sunrise with them. But after noticing something from the livestream chat, she no longer paid attention to the sun. She hugged the red-tailed hawk and gave it a kiss, then pulled the soft little bear close and kissed its forehead.

“Hua Hua!” The only one who hadn’t come down from the tree was the proud little leopard.

Hearing the commotion, the leopard leapt down the trunk. It paused when stepping onto the edge of the hammock.

The overburdened hammock instantly sagged in height, but thankfully didn’t hit the ground—it just got stuck a bit lower on the tree trunk.

But the leopard’s eyes widened, seemingly curious about what had just happened.

Lin Qianyu hugged the fuzzy head and gave it a kiss. “Doesn’t matter, still gonna kiss you.”

“Wuuu.”

—The journey across half the island ended when they returned to the cave at noon the next day.

The moment she stepped onto the platform, Lin Qianyu took off her hat and fanned herself. “Finally home.”

Even though the outside was fun, home still had more complete supplies.

Lin Qianyu first went to check on the chick and the little deer. The waterproof cloth by the door hadn’t been disturbed, and the small door inside was just as she had left it.

—Good, the door was still there and intact.

She had mentally prepared for the little deer to have turned the place into a mess.

After all, young animals were naturally active and playful.

But when she opened the door, everything inside was neat and clean. The baby bird was curled up in a group.

The little chevrotain was curled up in the corner, still asleep. When it heard noise outside, it blinked its eyes in a daze. Upon seeing Lin Qianyu, it happily stood up. “Yoo!”

“Good morning, little deer.” She paused, then corrected herself, “Actually, good noon. Are you hungry? Still have enough grass to eat?”

“Yoo!” The little chevrotain wagged its tail and rushed over to rub against Lin Qianyu, clearly missing her after just one night apart.

The baby bird wasn’t awake yet, and the food left from yesterday had all been eaten.

Lin Qianyu subconsciously softened her steps and led the little deer outside.

Setting down the livestream equipment, Lin Qianyu said, “You guys play with the little deer for now, I’m going to take a shower.”

She’d wanted to rinse off with fresh water after coming out of the sea yesterday, but conditions didn’t allow—she only managed to rinse the little bear downstream.

Now that they were back, she could finally take a proper shower, and use extra soap pods.

By the time Lin Qianyu came back from her shower, the livestream chat had exploded.

【Wait, Guo Yanpeng actually has that kind of guts?】

【If it’s true, I owe him an apology for scolding him before.】

【But didn’t he and Hang Sisi not get along? Yin Youlin and Hang Sisi teamed up just to slap Guo Yanpeng in the face—so how come now he’s the one saving his enemy?】...

"Rescue someone?"

Lin Qianyu was drying her damp hair, puzzled by what the livestream chat was discussing.

Just then, the director tagged everyone in the group chat, notifying them to go to the villa.

Lin Qianyu had a hunch it was related to what the chat was talking about, so she called out, "Little deer, I'm heading out for a bit. When Hua Hua and the others come back, remember to let them know."

"Yoo!"

So many things had happened before, and the director never asked everyone to go to the villa.

After all, since this was a live variety show, stepping outside the area would stray from the show itself.

Being asked to gather this time clearly meant it wasn’t something minor.

Lin Qianyu walked the path toward the shelter, where the production team’s vehicle was parked.

But inside was only the driver; Director Su wasn’t there.

Not long after, Hang Sisi arrived.

Once Hang Sisi got in, the driver closed the door.

Lin Qianyu said, “Sir, not everyone’s here yet.”

Hang Sisi turned her head and said, “Everyone’s here. It’s just us two in the rainforest now.”

Lin Qianyu paused. “What about Yin Youlin?”

“He went out to find food today and seems to have gotten injured. The crew took him out,” Hang Sisi explained. She didn’t know much either—she and Yin Youlin had split up to forage, and she only found out something happened after seeing the director’s message.

Lin Qianyu frowned, unsure how Guo Yanpeng ended up involved with Yin Youlin.

The driver drove steadily.

This was the same road the guests had taken when they first entered the rainforest.

At the villa, Director Su’s assistant was waiting downstairs. When she saw the two of them approaching, she froze for a moment—glancing at the ragged, disheveled Hang Sisi, then at Lin Qianyu, who looked like she was on a summer vacation, completely untouched by the rainforest’s harsh conditions. She couldn’t help but marvel—what a huge difference.

But before she could think further, the two had already walked up to her.

The assistant nodded, turned around to lead the way, and said, “This way, Director Su and the other guests are upstairs on the second floor.”

Director Su hadn’t given any instructions about handling the livestream equipment, so Lin Qianyu occasionally chatted with the audience and didn’t make any adjustments, letting the camera follow behind.

They walked to the innermost room on the second floor.

The room was simply furnished, with only two beds.

Now, lying on one bed was Yin Youlin, and on the other was Guo Yanpeng.

An Lanqing sat nearby in a chair, her eyes red, holding a damp tissue—it was clear she had been crying for a while.

Lin Qianyu asked, “What happened?”

The director sighed. “Yin Youlin was picking wild fruit and lost his footing in the tree. Guo Yanpeng saw it and rushed to save him. But there was a small cliff below, and both of them fell down together.”The program team’s rescue squad arrived in time and brought the two back.

Although the cliff wasn’t high, it was still two or three stories tall. Falling straight down like that, Guo Yanpeng broke his leg, and Yin Youlin also fractured an arm, which was now in a cast.

Fortunately, some trees cushioned their fall. If they had landed headfirst, the consequences could’ve been much worse.

“Guo Yanpeng went to save him?” Lin Qianyu wasn’t entirely convinced.

She’d seen through what kind of person Guo Yanpeng was during their days filming the show.

With Hang Sisi standing between them, Guo Yanpeng’s relationship with Yin Youlin had only gotten worse. Forget rescuing him—if Yin Youlin had fallen and Guo Yanpeng didn’t clap and laugh on the spot, it was likely only because they were still live.

Rescuing someone… really didn’t seem like something he’d do.

Before Lin Qianyu could think it through, the director handed both her and Hang Sisi a map. “This shows the cliffs located outside the designated safe zones, compiled quickly by the team. During your livestreams, make sure to avoid these areas.”

As he spoke, the director sighed again. Sure enough, expanding the activity range was just asking for accidents.

But since he had already allowed Lin Qianyu free movement, restricting the other guests would look like favoritism, and they’d be scolded by fans for opening back doors.

The director was clearly troubled.

Lin Qianyu glanced at An Lanqing. Since they entered the room, An Lanqing hadn’t lifted her head, seemingly oblivious to everything around her, focused only on the unconscious Guo Yanpeng in the bed.

Something about this felt really off.

Lin Qianyu suddenly asked, “Were you there when Guo Yanpeng saved him?”

The director was about to respond, but noticing Lin Qianyu was asking An Lanqing, he kept quiet.

“I was,” An Lanqing’s voice was hoarse from crying. Without waiting for Lin Qianyu to press further, she voluntarily explained what had happened. “I was out with Yanpeng. We just happened to be in the same area. We were each picking wild fruit when Yin Youlin suddenly let out a cry. Yanpeng and I went over to check, and Yanpeng sensed something was wrong. He reached out to grab Yin Youlin, but…”

She paused, her voice breaking into sobs, “But Yin Youlin suddenly fell backward. Yanpeng couldn’t hold on and was pulled down with him. I wanted to help them, but I didn’t grab Yanpeng in time.”

“It’s all my fault. I caused this.” An Lanqing cried even harder, tears streaming from her red-rimmed eyes.

【It’s not your fault, Qingqing! Yin Youlin lost his footing and dragged others down!】

【Exactly! Qingqing is too kind. How can this be her fault? Hang Sisi should’ve known better than to take on more than she can handle.】

【Don’t cry, Qingqing! You have to stay strong for Guo Yanpeng!】

In the livestream chat, fans watching their idol break down began sending messages of support.

Lin Qianyu stood by silently, rather speechless.

She didn’t quite get it—he wasn’t dead. Was there really a need to cry like this?

At worst, he’d withdraw from the show. And from what she could tell, Guo Yanpeng was utterly devoted to An Lanqing, but An Lanqing didn’t necessarily feel the same. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a second simp like Xie Pengfei in the picture.

So… was she crying for the audience?

Lin Qianyu couldn’t figure it out.

【An Lanqing’s grief doesn’t feel genuine, and Lin-jie’s bafflement definitely isn’t an act.】

【First of all, I’m sorry this happened. Second, I checked the livestream recording—why is there no footage of that moment?】

【No footage… Yin Youlin’s stream had some, but it only showed Guo Yanpeng lunging at him before both of them fell.】Catching a glimpse of the barrage of comments, Lin Qianyu pressed her lips together. “It looks like Guo Yanpeng just woke up.”

As soon as she said that, An Lanqing suddenly looked up, urgently calling, “Yanpeng…”

But after a brief pause, the Guo Yanpeng lying on the bed with an oxygen mask didn’t even twitch—he showed no signs of waking up.

An Lanqing’s breath hitched. It was as if her emotions, already stretched to the limit, were yanked even tighter, and she could barely keep her expression intact.

Lin Qianyu, however, just shrugged. “Maybe I saw it wrong.”

In that moment, the room seemed to fall completely silent.

Director Su’s gaze shifted subtly several times. When he looked at An Lanqing, there was a hint of scrutiny.

An Lanqing seemed to sense something was wrong as well. She quickly lowered her head and sobbed, “I’ve just been so worried, thinking what if Yanpeng doesn’t wake up. It’s all my fault—I insisted on picking wild fruit. I’m sorry…”

She simply covered her face and began to cry.

Her face hidden, no one could see her expression. Lin Qianyu exchanged a glance with Director Su.

Director Su pressed his lips together and said, “The reason I called you here was to deliver this information. If there’s nothing else, head back for now.”

Part of the reason was also to warn the other guests to be cautious, using the current condition of the two people on the beds as an example.

Director Su added, “I’ll post updates about Guo Yanpeng and Yin Youlin in the group chat. You two can go. An Lanqing, are you coming too? That way the driver doesn’t have to make a second trip.”

The livestream was still running. Staying here too long might be flagged as a violation.

Hang Sisi was holding back a million questions. She hadn’t heard what the director had said to An Lanqing, but once she and Lin Qianyu were outside, she couldn’t help asking, “Was it really an accident?”

“An Lanqing has been aiming for the top three. If everyone lasts the same amount of time, the rankings depend on fan votes. Now that Guo Yanpeng and Yin Youlin are seriously injured and have to quit, she’s quietly become third.”

It takes at least a hundred days for bone injuries to heal. Even if they come back before they’ve fully recovered, there’s no way they’ll perform well.

Hang Sisi was second, Lin Qianyu was first, and after this accident, An Lanqing was the biggest beneficiary.

The more Hang Sisi thought about it, the more convinced she became. “An Lanqing is ruthless.”

But Lin Qianyu shook her head. “There’s no footage in the livestream recordings. That means An Lanqing covered her tracks very well. Until there’s solid proof, don’t say anything.”

“Sigh. And she still has so many fans supporting her in her stream. I just…” Hang Sisi felt utterly powerless. But Lin Qianyu was right—without evidence, unless Guo Yanpeng wakes up and directly accuses An Lanqing of pushing him, her fans will always have something to say.

In Lin Qianyu’s livestream, many viewers’ suspicions weren’t much different from what Hang Sisi said—it’s just that no one had any proof.

Hang Sisi got in the car and looked out the window, sighing. “Qianyu-jie, do you think Guo Yanpeng will accuse An Lanqing after he wakes up? They were so close.”

If Guo Yanpeng didn’t speak up, even if Yin Youlin said Guo Yanpeng lunged at him, An Lanqing could still argue that Guo Yanpeng slipped. It would be really hard to pin the blame on her.

“The director will investigate,” Lin Qianyu said, twisting a still-damp strand of hair around her finger. “Director Su is a fair person. He won’t tolerate injustice in his show.”

【Wishing for An Lanqing to quit the show.】

【Should’ve left long ago. Just a phony clown who only knows how to play a persona.】

【Weird, why is her livestream so quiet? No one’s defending her anymore. Where’d her fan army go?】

【They got muted lol... Lin-jie’s Su-director’s golden goose now. You try flaming Lin-jie, you won’t survive.】

Hang Sisi wanted to say more, but when she saw An Lanqing get into the car too, she immediately shut up and stared silently out the window.Lin Qianyu completely treated her like she was invisible, not even bothering to spare an extra glance.

Perhaps because she had something on her mind, An Lanqing remained quiet as well, silently walking to sit in the last row.

Once the vehicle started, only the rumble of the engine remained.

By the time Lin Qianyu got home, the fluffball that had gone out hunting still hadn’t returned.

The little deer was running back and forth on the platform. Every time it reached the edge, it would stop, then turn its head and run off in another direction.

It was strictly keeping its activity range confined to the platform.

“Where did that bird come from?” Lin Qianyu noticed a bird lying still on the empty, clean platform. It wasn’t moving—was it dead?

“Yoo!”

Tossed?

“Who threw it here?” Lin Qianyu picked up the little bird. Its pale yellow body bore clear bite marks.

None of the fluffballs at home usually hunted birds like this—it wasn’t even as big as her hand.

Suspicious, Lin Qianyu asked, “You didn’t see it? Or you don’t recognize it?”

The little deer tilted its head. “Yoo…”

Guess it didn’t recognize it.

“Seems like we got another food delivery from a little animal.” But dealing with the bird was a problem—it wasn’t worth plucking the feathers.

More bone than meat.

Lin Qianyu took two empty bowls—one for water, and she placed the bird in the other.

If that little animal came again, she’d let it eat the bird itself.

After a pause, Lin Qianyu suddenly thought of something and picked up the bird to examine it again. After a while, she said, “This was probably brought over by the spotted large civet.”

Among the small animals she knew, the only one that treated birds as food was the large spotted civet.

【What?!!】

【Didn’t you only meet it once?! Why is it bringing you food already! I don’t believe it! You definitely hunted that bird yourself, hmph!】

Though they typed out their disbelief, deep down they believed it more than anyone.

Lin Qianyu hadn’t even mentioned the spotted large civet yet, and the comment barrage was already speculating if it had been the one.

“Looks like it’s a timid little guy,” Lin Qianyu thought aloud, adding two pieces of jerky to the bird’s bowl.

Maybe it was afraid of the predators around her, so it chose to sneak over and leave a gift.

“Chirp chirp! Chirp chirp!”

“Chirp chirp!”

The calls of fledglings came from inside the house.

Lin Qianyu carried in a bowl of meat. “Alright, alright, I’m coming. You little ones must be hungry.”Dian Dian had known Lin Qianyu for a relatively long time, and when it saw her coming over with a bowl, it didn’t even open its beak to ask for food—instead, it rubbed against her wrist repeatedly, its beak slightly parting to let out a faint sound that was different from its usual calls. Lin Qianyu thought, this must be the sound a Red-tailed Mountain Eagle makes when it's acting cute.

“Is the Red-tailed Mountain Eagle the only one that can make this kind of sound?” Lin Qianyu mused with a smile. “I’ve never heard the little eagle make this noise before.”

Looks like there’s a chance to see it acting spoiled.

Tuan Tuan and Qiu Qiu sat side by side, squishing against each other, the feathers in the middle getting flattened, both struggling to open their beaks as wide as possible.

The feather felt in their nest quivered slightly under their commotion.

Lin Qianyu moved the little eagle’s felt pad further back, then picked up her chopsticks and fed it some meat. Halfway through rubbing against her, Dian Dian got grabbed by the scruff and fed a bite as well.

With its beak stuffed full of meat, Dian Dian couldn’t make a sound, so it flapped its wings and rubbed up against her even more fervently.

One of the little birds in the nest rolled over, revealing some feathers tucked at the bottom of the nest.

Lin Qianyu thought they were just naturally shed feathers and reached out to take them out—only to find it wasn’t just one. She ended up pulling out five or six in total.

Red-tailed Mountain Eagles don’t pluck their own feathers to build nests.

Puzzled, Lin Qianyu muttered, “Is the little eagle starting to use feathers as decoration?”

Red-tailed Mountain Eagle feathers and tail feathers shed naturally during molting season, but they don’t all fall out at once. Even when they’re molting, they still manage to keep up their elegant and regal appearance.

Plus, wherever the feathers fall, they stay—they don’t go around collecting them intentionally.

Now that there were this many feathers in the little eagle’s nest, it clearly hadn’t just shed all those tail feathers at once while lying there.

Digging deeper, Lin Qianyu found her missing fan.

Back when she was making the felt pad for the little eagle, she didn’t have enough feathers and didn’t want to ask it for any, so she had painfully dismantled her own fan.

That fan had originally been made using Red-tailed Mountain Eagle feathers—once those were pulled off, the fan was full of holes and completely useless, letting air right through.

So Lin Qianyu switched to using a regular fan and hadn’t paid attention to where the old one ended up.

Now it looked like the little eagle had taken it.

The fan, which should’ve been bald, now had a feather stuck into one of the empty slots.

It had been inserted straight in, clearly not by Lin Qianyu.

Suddenly, Lin Qianyu's eyes widened. “Did… the little eagle do this?”

It had watched how she made the feather fan and was trying to repair it by filling it back in with feathers?

【What?! What are you even saying right now?!】

【Help—aaaah my baby eagle! Secretly fixing something it knew you loved… that’s just too sweet!】

【I’m so jealous it hurts, I feel like I’m sitting under a lemon tree chewing lemons bite by bite.】

……

For a moment, Lin Qianyu was speechless. She really hadn’t expected the little eagle to do something like that.

Looking at the not-so-pretty fan, she let out a soft sigh, but the curve of her lips kept rising. Rubbing the beautiful tail feather with her fingertips, she murmured, “My little eagle is so wonderful.”“He knew I didn’t have a fan, and even took the initiative to make one for me.”

Even though the fan wasn’t fully complete yet, Lin Qianyu still adored it immensely.

However, for the little eagle to wrap the tail feathers onto the frame all on its own was nearly an impossible task.

Lin Qianyu picked up those few tail feathers, returned to the table, and threaded them onto the fan. She didn’t remove the one feather that the little eagle had inserted—just adjusted its angle slightly and turned it into a playful decoration. The remaining feathers were installed properly one by one.

This feather fan was even more splendid than the first one she had made.

“Look, I made it together with the little eagle.” Lin Qianyu held the fan up to the camera, especially highlighting the one feather that the little eagle had inserted. “It’s practically a work of art. The little eagle is amazing.”

【We don’t even know each other, and you already want me to die of jealousy today, sob sob…】

【I can’t take it anymore—report! REPORT!】

Lin Qianyu was overjoyed—this kind of happiness couldn’t be put into words.

She felt like the little eagle truly held her in its heart.

She placed the feather fan in the most eye-catching spot, right at her eye level—no need to lift her head, just turn around and she could see it.

Even tidying up the house suddenly became more energizing.

In reality, she’d only been away one night, and there wasn’t much to clean in the cave.

But since the inside was dark, Lin Qianyu preferred to take advantage of the sunlight to air out the fur blankets and sponge mats.

That way, at night, everything smelled like sunshine.

Also, watermelons couldn’t be stored long in this environment.

Lin Qianyu tossed two into the river.

Once she’d finished hanging everything outside that needed airing and dealt with the last bit of meat, she’d come back to fish out the watermelons.

They felt cool on the surface—not as cold as soaking in well water, but still good.

With the scorching sun outside, it was already great that the river could chill them this much.

Lin Qianyu shaved the skin off one watermelon—removing the outer green layer—so that the little bear could hold and eat the whole thing more easily.

The rest she cut into chunks and started by feeding the fawn.

She took a sip of cool boiled water and glanced outside. Still no sign of the fluffballs returning.

After cutting the watermelon, the whole cave was filled with its fresh, cooling scent, instantly making the air feel more refreshing.

Leaning against the doorway, Lin Qianyu lightly waved the fan in her hand. The fawn was eating watermelon inside, and the platform outside was empty of animals—it was very quiet, with only the harsh chirping of cicadas in the background.

Lin Qianyu lifted the feather fan to shade her forehead but still didn’t see the fluffballs coming back. She couldn’t help murmuring, “Where did they run off to hunt this time?”

“I’ll go out and look for them. If I’m lucky, I might catch a shot of Huahua hunting.” Lin Qianyu thought it over and decided not to just wait around at home. She didn’t take the feather fan when she went out—afraid she might accidentally damage it—so she left it at the cave for indoor use. A straw hat would suffice for going out.

Also, they’d finished all the hazelnuts at home. She could pick some more while she was out.

Lin Qianyu couldn’t really stay idle. She dropped her backpack and headed out.

Unlike the little animals who could track by scent, Lin Qianyu could only search for them by circling their usual haunts. Most of the time, though, the little ones would bring back their prey and come looking for her themselves."Let's follow the river upstream. The little bear often hunts by the river, the little eagle should be with it, and Huahua should be further up." Lin Qianyu knew quite a few little animals by the river. It was so hot that even the birds in the trees were too lazy to fly.

This time Lin Qianyu went out with nothing but a straw hat, traveling light, planning to help the fluffballs carry back the prey.

But as she walked upstream, there was no sign of the little bear. She reached the leopard’s territory but found no trace of the leopard either.

Lin Qianyu asked for help in the livestream chat: "Have you seen any sign of my fluffballs in other guests’ livestreams?"

The chat was flooded with "hahaha" and lots of question marks.

【I think I saw Huahua going up the mountain in Hang Sisi’s stream.】

Barely able to find useful information from the barrage of comments, Lin Qianyu nodded, "Then let’s head straight up the mountain."

Walking along the river upstream, the mountain path became much easier.

The leopard’s territory was huge—the whole mountain ridge belonged to it. No wonder other leopards had come in groups to fight over the land before.

Who wouldn’t want a share of such a big territory?

Huahua’s combat ability was top-tier among leopards, able to hold her own against two opponents.

After walking for a long time, still no leopard appeared, but something in the trees caught Lin Qianyu’s attention. "These are egg yolk fruits."

Egg yolk fruit was a rare tropical fruit, with a texture like egg yolk and a fragrant aroma. Most importantly, it wasn’t just a fruit but also quite filling.

Lin Qianyu wasn’t short on food, so she picked only two. "Let’s see how they taste."

They looked a bit like unripe mangoes on the outside, but both the taste and aroma were very different from mangoes.

"There’s quite a lot of egg yolk fruit here," Lin Qianyu thought. She’d come back later to pick more if the fluffballs liked them. She herself wasn’t that fond.

Compared to these fruits, Lin Qianyu preferred those that were sweet and tangy and refreshing.

She ate slowly, taking bites now and then. "I think this is my first time here."

No need to worry about danger—it was Huahua’s territory. Just watch out for snakes and insects that might suddenly appear on the ground.

A large fallen tree lay across the ground, uprooted. The bird’s nest on it was destroyed.

Upside down on the ground, the bird eggs inside were broken. It was unclear when the tree had fallen. The eggshells remained, but whether the yolk and whites had been eaten by other animals or had rotted away was unknown.

The rainforest was a wild paradise for bird watchers.

There were many bird species here, including some protected worldwide. Lin Qianyu had seen several flying freely even halfway up the mountain.

The higher she climbed, the more lush the big trees were—perfect for birds to build nests.

"So sad that they’re all broken." Lin Qianyu walked around a few nests that looked like they had been blown to the ground by the wind. Not far away, she saw birds moving under a tree.

Two birds were pressing their necks together. They were green, almost blending into the grass; only by getting close could they be clearly seen.

Sensing someone approaching, both birds raised their heads and glanced at Lin Qianyu. They spread their wings to leave but hesitated anxiously, as if worried. Finally, unable to resist, they spread their wings to block Lin Qianyu from getting closer.

The two birds stood one in front of the other, in a protective stance.

Looking at their distinctive feathers, Lin Qianyu pondered for a moment, "Puerto Rican Amazon parrots?"

【Wow! I can’t believe I’m seeing live ones!】【Awesome... In Sister Lin’s livestream, anything can appear.】

【Is the professor who observed the red-tailed hawk in the livestream still here? Seems like you have a new observation target. Come on, get to work and educate us!!!】

...

The Puerto Rican Amazon parrot, like the red-tailed hawk, has long been listed as one of the critically endangered species.

There are only about a hundred left worldwide, and the online records are quite old; no one knows how many remain now.

Seeing its wariness, Lin Qianyu didn’t move forward but squatted down on the spot, made herself smaller, and softened her voice to ask, "Did the bird eggs fall?"

She saw what the parrot was protecting behind it.

“Gulu!”

Parrots can make more than a dozen different sounds, each expressing different meanings.

But Lin Qianyu didn’t need to guess from these.

She said seriously, “I can help put your eggs back. You can’t bring them back yourself, right?”

If it could, it wouldn’t have stood there so long, not leaving even when people came.

“Trust me, I won’t hurt you.” Lin Qianyu just kept talking to it, without approaching.

The parrot examined her, puzzled that it could understand human speech.

“Staying down there too long isn’t good for the eggs, right?” Lin Qianyu didn’t know much about egg incubation but knew that a damp grassy spot wouldn’t help the eggs hatch.

It seemed to ponder, also considering Lin Qianyu’s words.

The parrot was cautious, and Lin Qianyu was patient.

If she showed impatience, the parrot might have fought fiercely with her.

After a long standoff, the parrot moved aside, exposing the eggs to Lin Qianyu.

Seeing this, Lin Qianyu relaxed. Saving one egg might help increase the number of Puerto Rican Amazon parrots in the world.

She carefully cupped the egg in her palm and pointed at the tree, asking, “Is it this tree?”

The parrot nodded.

To be safe, Lin Qianyu put the egg in her pocket and zipped it up, completely preventing the egg from falling while climbing the tree.

It was also lucky for the parrot; once in the tree, Lin Qianyu noticed that right next to it was a cliff. Even a slightly stronger wind could have blown the eggs off.

After putting the egg away, to her surprise, there were quite a few eggs inside.

Lin Qianyu said, “When you have time, find another place to build your nest. This place is too dangerous.”

“Gulu...”

Hearing its agreement, Lin Qianyu felt a bit relieved.

One parrot landed in the nest and rubbed affectionately against Lin Qianyu’s fingertip.

“All right, I have to go now.” With such a delay, quite some time had passed.Lin Qianyu avoided the branch with the bird’s nest, held onto the tree trunk with one hand, and stepped on the branches below to jump down.

However, the moment she landed, the parrot suddenly cried out and rushed over. Lin Qianyu turned her head and saw a green snake hiding in the leaves with its mouth open toward her.

Lin Qianyu immediately pinched its neck and shook it away but instantly lost her balance.

At the same time, the branch under her foot snapped with a crack. Lin Qianyu lost her footing and fell. She immediately reached out to grab another branch, but it broke right after.

What kind of broken tree was this?

Lin Qianyu grabbed a rock with her other hand, barely holding onto the edge of the cliff. Her foot was on a slope but slipping, unable to gain leverage.

The two parrots panicked and rushed over, clawing at her clothes and flapping their wings hard.

But no matter how thin a person was, parrots couldn’t lift them up by flying.

“It’s okay, you all go back.” Lin Qianyu glanced down. It wasn’t too high, and there was a platform below to break her fall.

The parrots hesitated. Lin Qianyu said, “Don’t worry.”

As the parrots released her, Lin Qianyu loosened her grip on the rock and slid down the slope, skillfully flipping to land on the protruding platform.

Seeing Lin Qianyu land, the livestream finally started flooding with comments.

“That scared me to death!!!”

“Oh my god, I didn’t even dare to breathe just now, afraid that Sister Lin would fall to her death with one breath.”

“To be honest, that move was pretty cool. I give it a ten.”

She couldn’t go back up, so Lin Qianyu had to jump down along the platforms and cliff protrusions.

After passing several slopes, Lin Qianyu’s face grew paler and paler, her lips losing all color. The weakness from her body hadn’t reached her mental limits, but physically she was starting to collapse.

But having come this far, Lin Qianyu gritted her teeth and finished the last stretch.

At the moment she landed, her steps faltered. She barely held onto a nearby tree and didn’t fall.

But everything before her started to blacken, and sweat broke out on her forehead.

Lin Qianyu couldn’t help but wonder if she had taken a shortcut down the mountain?

Most importantly… where was this?

Looking around, it was a completely unfamiliar environment.

Lin Qianyu coughed several times in a row. Her clothes had been scratched during the fall, and her arms had small abrasions.

She couldn’t care about anything else. Feeling unwell, she found a relatively open spot and sent her location to the director.

Just as she was about to sit down, her foot suddenly slipped.

“?!”

Lin Qianyu reacted immediately, clasped her head with both hands, and rolled down. Her head felt dizzy, and suddenly she seemed to hit something soft, not like a wall.

Her consciousness blurred, even opening her eyes felt extremely difficult.

In a daze, Lin Qianyu seemed to see a big fluffy mountain. The next moment, she completely lost consciousness.
